"Amazing for so many reasons. The staff (family) are so incredibly helpful, friendly and genuine. Each of them went out of their way to make our vacation better. The House itself is incredible and kept immaculately. The location is a little walk out of town so it is peaceful all the time but close enough to walk into town to tour. Views are amazing from the hilltop perch. Lots of parking and short walk to the bus. Breakfast was incredibly good and well organized. Lots of selection for us Vegetarians. Rooms are spacious and have modern bathrooms and a nice coffee bar. Communications with them was easy and quick and helped clarify things before our visit. Don't hesitate to book this perfect vacation experience. Our time spent there was much more than accommodation. "
"Two night stay for a family gathering, the staff were amazing very accommodating, evening food was great and the breakfast was great, overall a lovely place to stay. "
"We enjoyed revisiting Hunday. Our last visit was 9 years ago.
I was a little disappointed to see Haigh Whisky is no longer served. When we first stayed here, Barry introduced me to Haigh cocktails.
We will revisit when the hotel refurbishment is complete. "
"Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!!
Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given.
Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it.
Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel.
Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm.
Definitely worth a visit "
