Hotels in Corney

This is a hotel in a small community on the costal estuary. Not a 5 star Marriott, but you wouldn’t want one in this quaint town.

We had a very lovely time Mike and Elena were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and the conservatory and outside dining space was brilliant. The food was delicious and plenty of it ( too much) We will definitely go back The locals were very friendly to strangers

It was an amazing stay, the local people and the bartender are truly friendly. Totally recommend the place.

Lovely staff, beautiful surroundies good place to access hikes or lovly small towns. Roads are narrow getting there but it is a gorgeous location. Excellent breakfast and pub food. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed a couple of nights. Good place for a short stop over No parking but there is a free public parking round the corner No food but there is a great store across the road that does take out breakfasts etc which you can eat in the pub

The hosts were very kind since the moment we arrived. The rooms were very cozy and extremely clean. Home made English breakfast was also very good. The only major issue we faced was the room didn't have blackouts and there was a street light next to one of the window. My wife couldn't sleep with all the light. For me it was fine... Hope to return soon.

The Ees Wyke is a true country inn with magnificent grounds and views of the countryside and lake. We stayed in the Lilac room which was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. The public spaces, i.e. living room and dining room, were beautifully maintained and elegantly appointed. The breakfast buffet was abundant and included a choice of specially prepared hot menu items, all of high quality and expertly prepared by the proprietor/chef. What a beautiful property! The rooms are spacious and lovely with comfy beds, we slept with the window open to hear the babbling brook that runs along next door. The meals were delicious, the staff friendly and helpful and the bar has a nice selection. Highly recommend this lovely hotel in a beautiful spot!

First impression of the hotel at check-in was exceptional- Stephen was very welcoming and friendly, and we knew it was going to be an incredible stay! In fact, encounters with the staff from bartender, restaurant and housekeeping were all friendly, engaging, and positive. The location was serene and relaxing with incredible 360-degree views of mountains and pastures! Inside, there were several cozy areas to relax and unwind. Nice hotel located in the middle of Grassmere. The room was clean, spacious with a great soaking tub and nice window views. There's a nice seating area downstairs that converts to a breakfast room in the morning. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff were all friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and things to do in the area.

What a nice quit stay we had! Richard was very helpful! Do make sure you have contact with him before you get there to get your room assignment. Are room was spacious and had beautiful views. Are very convenient to Grasmere.
