The manager of this establishment, Silvie, was wonderful. We missed the turn to get to the property & she offered to come find us. This is an experience I never received in all my travels. She went above & beyond to accommodate us.
This property was stunning. Gorgeous views westward over the rolling Tuscan hills, paired with a cozy spa and relaxing outdoor pool were the perfect setting for a portion of our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly/helpful and management certainly does a superb job maintaining this historical setting.
I was looking for a hotel to stay in for 2 days that was between Rome and Florence. Montepuliano was perfect. This turned out to be a fabulous choice. It is up on a hill with beautiful views and even though it is in the country, our GPS took us right there. Our jr suites were perfect for a Mom and one kid and two other young adult kids. A lovely, comfortable hotel in a beautiful location with spectacular views. The staff was beyond excellent going out of their way to help us as we navigated through the issues related to driving in a hilltop medieval town. I have been in Italy many times but everything here was so delightful and beautiful it will always remain a highlighted memory.
Our stay was wonderful. The hotel staff were fabulous. The rooms were nice and larger than most European hotel rooms. The bathroom was roomy as well but the shower stall was rather small and cramped.

This is a wonderful B & B that is really top notch. The rooms are very comfortable with every amenity. A very quality establishment. The breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful restaurant. Your host is very gracious a and will attend to your every need. This is also a great location to explore Tuscany. Close to Cortona and Sienna and Arezzo.
Pro: gorgeous and spacious property, we were upgraded to a junior suite that was lovely, attentive staff, and incredible amenities. Pool was wonderful for tired bodies.
Con: very few. The restaurant on site has pretty limited menu, toilet in room kept running all night long- informed staff on checkout (as it was troublesome to flush, and wasting water), fridge in room- housed in a cabinet that I feel caused it to overheat… and therefore was not very powerful enough to keep drinks cold.

It was wonderful. The house is in beautiful country and is furnished and decorated to be very homey. The scenery is outstanding. Tuscany is beautiful in September. Simonetta is the owner and proprietor and by the end of our week's stay, she felt like family. There is a delicious breakfast each morning at which other boarder's may be present. A highlight of the stay was a cooking class with Simonetta in which we made a mult-course meal including pasta from scratch in her kitchen.
We had two wonderful days at Hotel Kursaal. The owner, Bruno, was extremely helpful, and the hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming. Both the hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, as it is an easy walk into town. The hotel is very well-maintained, and our room had a lovely view of serene Lake Trasimeno.
