"Apartments are spacious, clean, and well equipped. Unfortunately there is no heat in the cold winter evenings so we were cold at night. The pool area was nice with entertainment during the day - I really enjoyed the saxophone player. The pool is not heated. The food from the pool bar was good. The hotel is in a good location. A couple of minutes down the hill to the main strip and beach and a couple of minutes up the hill to the bus stop to go to Arrecife or the airport. There is a supermarket next door which is really handy."
"Fantastic stay at the Lava Beach hotel. The 5 star rating is truly justified.
Rooms were large and well finished, robes and slipper included.
Spa facility for massage was great and worth the extra money.
Restaurants in 200m either direction if you don’t want to eat in the hotel.
Breakfast was great and the Cava was a nice touch.
Drinks and bar snacks were all responsibly priced and the piano bar had live enetertainment everynight which was great for a night cap. Will definitely come back.
Distance to Puerto del Carmen centre is around a 30 minute walk, €4.5 in a taxi. Great to break the day up. "
"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Lots of storage. The pillows were very soft, this made it uncomfortable to try and sit up in bed to read. Small fridge in the room. Water provided on day one. Seaview room, spacious balcony with a pool and a nice view of the sea.
Nice pool and lobby bars. Service was good some occasions, at other times needed to go and find a menu and order at the bar.
We booked half board. The restaurant was lovely and the staff worked very hard. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Good selection of food at breakfast and dinner. Everything was clearly marked. Only slight disappointment was the selection of fresh fruit at breakfast. Quite a lot seemed to be tinned, the pineapple was still frozen! The coffee machine was very good.
Overall a lovely hotel.
