Almeria is a vastly underrated city. It's one of my favorites. Flat, very walkable, comopolitan and chic, but without a big-city feel.

La Perla is a small hotel sitting at the divergence of two streets on a small plaza in Almeria. Bright, clean and inviting lobby with an attentive desk person speaking great English. The room seemed brand new. All the fixtures were top notch and easy to use. The staff was incredibly helpful and willing to do whatever I asked including getting me an extra pillow and printing out my boarding passes for my return flights home. When we requested to stay an extra couple of days they struggled with the computer but said - just stay , we will sort the computer out before you go . A great relief !

Nice hotel with the beach at your finger tips!! Staff knows English and are friendly. The buffet has delicious authentic food. There is a bar, pool, and bus stop out front. Lots of restaurants and souvenir shops around hotel. It is about 30 to 40 mins to the city. Overall me and my husband had a lovely experience at the hotel and city.
We were very happy with our short stay here. The room was comfortable and clean, and the entire inside of the hotel is beautiful. Parking was easy and inexpensive. Breakfast was very nice as well. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance.
