Hotels in Old Town Fredericksburg

Our stay at Ironclad was great! From our first interaction in the Inn to our last everything exceeded our expectations. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and private. The Inn is really somewhere between a B&B and a hotel. The bourbon room downstairs is such a wonderful time and the cocktails are fantastic. The breakfast is also delicious and the service far exceeded a standard B&B breakfast. We loved our short stay here and will be back.

Came in late (2am) Front desk staff friendly and nice. Room nice clean and spacious. Our two tiny dogs loved it. $30 refundable pet fee…..simply fantastic. And very good coffee in the morning. Highly recommended. Will use this chain again.

Overnight stay great hotel and breakfast

It’s one of those places you want to be a secret. Parking is easy and we never drive anywhere because the location is so amazing.

It would be nice if they offered a couple of bottles of complementary water in the room.

We only stayed one night but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We have no complaints. This was a really nice hotel and we will stay here again when visiting family in VA. The breakfast in the morning was a nice as well. My family enjoyed the selection.

Front staff Catherine was great. Housekeeper was also friendly. Room was clean and spacious, even though it was showing some age. Breakfast had a variety of fresh food. Bacon was hot and crispy.

I have two dogs that weigh around eighty pounds which made it very hard to find a place that would except them and this place does. Very nice accommodation, I have stayed in other hotels in this area and this one tops them all.

I was in a bind due to another hotel, and clarion inn was a blessing. Allen at the front desk was awesome and very helpful. Also, want to shout out the bartender, Jessie, at the bearded monkey, for suggesting this stay.

Very pretty hotel with great service. The area around the property was average.The only thing was, the balcony at the room was over looking a cemetery.

It was fine. No TV channel listing available online or paper. Must scroll through over 200 channel listing to find channel being sought. Thus is laziness by hotel as all it takes is one person just one day to do this for posting. Majority of channel are shopping or info, it was very frustrating. I just wanted to relax in front of TV after long day.

One night stay. Great location close to many restaurants. Clean and comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Only suggestion would be to replace chairs on breakfast/lobby. Fabric has stains galore.
