"From the start when I dropped off my bag to store prior to check in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. The rooms were clean, cosy and had great air conditioning. They were also quiet (stayed over a weekend) and didn't hear anyone in neighbouring rooms. Breakfast was also great with a great range. Also really close to trams/train stations so getting around was easy. I absolutely would stay here or at their other sites again"

The James Hotel Rotterdam

"Overall the room was quiet, clean and nicely presented, however it was a bit dark and awkwardly shaped with little room at the foot of the bed due to the odd shape of our particular room (1807). The James is ideally located in the centre of Rotterdam and is walkable from the railway station. Overall good value and would recommend to others."

"We had a very nice stay at the hotel and I would absolutely recommend it. It is located in an ideal spot in the city close to the train station and most tourist attractions with Depot and Sonnevelde House literally next door. The staff were extremely helpful when we had a few requests and were a credit to the hotel. My only small gripe is that there aren’t enough staff on at breakfast so certain options would run out quite often. The staff were rushed off their feet and still extremely helpful but they need more help. Overall I highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again if we visit Rotterdam."
