"It's a quiet, spacious and with lake view room. Enjoy the amenities and the attractions around the lake. There is buffet dinner with fee. It's kind of expensive though."

"An absolutely incredible hotel set within a stunning forest. You can watch the wildlife from the windows. We saw deer, a fox, birds including woodpeckers, butterflies and stag beetles. The onsen was great, especially the outdoor pool and the food was fantastic"

New Akan Hotel

New Akan Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The rooftop mixed onsen was a big surprise, but super nice as we don't usually get to be with family members of other sex. (You do provide basic swimwear). It was so nice to look over the lake and just chill out in the onsen upstairs, but the main onsen were also incredible. Food options were plenty in the restaurant (buffet style), and it's so close to the Ainu Kotan... definitely worth a visit!!"
