"Quite possibly one of the hidden gems of Hakuba Goryu. If you want the true Hakuba local experience and taken back in time, this is your spot. No frills and feel like you are staying with your relatives. Amazing hosts that go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. As for proximity to Goryu base, we walked it back (10 mins) at the end of every day so it’s very close. Since most of the Japan Ski resorts are mobbed by foreign tourists, getting away from the commercialized sections of...

"We staid one week at the Holiday Inn in Omachi. The Hotel is closely located to the transportation system to Murodo if you are interested for mountain hikes up to or around Mt. Tateyama. We felt very comfortable staying at the hotel enjoying the Onsen and our spacious quiet room. The buffet dinner had good selections changing every other night. The hotel is centrally located if you like to go to Hakuba or Matsumoto."

"I can not more highly recommend Shirouma So! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and perfectly situated near the bus terminal, Happo One, and restaurants. The onsen was the perfect way to finish a day on the slopes. The food was excellent and there was plenty of variety - while breakfast is set, it is different every day. I would definitely stay here again!"

Everything was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, making us feel completely at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, it had all the essentials and more. We enjoyed a cozy evening indoors, cooking and shabu shabu together. The host was incredibly nice and responsive, and all the information provided was clear and helpful. We’re...

"Saiko san and Li made my stay very accommodating. I felt like i was at home. Everything was awesome. So close to the Hakuba station and close to food, shopping and, of course, the ski resorts. Hakuba is a gem, but Hakuba West Coast inn is a great place to stay. Saiko-san speaks perfect english and made everyones stay with her a very special memory."
