The room was clean, the food excellent, and the staff genuinely helpful. The manager assisted with luggage, provided us with helpful advice for our destination the following day, and was very attentive while also serving at the restaurant. Room was luxurious and location excellent - peaceful but accessible from main road through village. Plenty of parking as the 2 rooms are behind the village cafe which has lots of parking space. Because they're round the back it's peaceful and there's a nice garden area with seating to enjoy in fine weather. Shower was good too. Big advantage if you're a late riser - breakfast is 9 - 11 and checkout till 12! Only quibble is you eat in the cafe which can get very busy at weekends and we waited...
