The property is very nice but it is the staff that makes it so special. From the moment you walk through the front door you are pampered and made to feel special. Definitely opt for the Club Floor. The afternoon tea and evening snack/ dinner in the club lounge is great and included in the price.

It’s a perfect hotel, beautiful and spacious room, staff are extremely polite and helpful, got a beautiful view of the lake. Love to come back for this hotel.

I have had the opportunity to visit the Melia Hotel in Yangon on various occasions over the years. I consider it my second home, where I always feel clean, safe, and conveniently located within walking distance of Myanmar Plaza, where you can find quick dining and shopping options. The staff is exceptionally friendly, kind, and helpful in every aspect of their service. I highly recommend the Melia Hotel to both business and leisure travelers. A visit there will not disappoint.

We had an excellent stay for our 8th Anniversary. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The best part was the guest policy, we were able to invite our friends over without any restrictions or headcounts. It made hosting our gathering completely stress-free. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel with beautiful lobby and beautiful areas to sit and relax. All the staff is extremely friendly. I received a warm welcome and a fruit basket and small flower-arrangement had been delivered to my room. Had a view to Shwedagon Pagoda, just amazing. Wonderful breakfast-buffet with great choice and attentive service. Concierge is very helpful with giving directions. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Hotel with three amazing restaurants with delectible and savory food. Lounge with great beverages and excellent food with friendly and prompt staff who anticipate your needs. I had a 22 day stay while visiting around Yangon. The best part about this hotel was the staff. Everyone that worked there was friendly and kind. That fact alone makes this a great place to stay. This was a 5 star stay at budget friendly prices.

What an amazing place! The Governor's Mansion is a beautifully landscaped, well-maintained boutique hotel with so much history and charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and bright. The staff are all very professional, kind and helpful. If you want a relaxing and pampered place, the Governor's Mansion is a good choice.
