"This hotel has many rooms. The rooms are basic, but clean. There are few amenities, but the room did have a refrigerator. It had a desk with a chair. There were two glasses to use. The windows opened for fresh air. The place is quiet because it's outside the city center, so we liked that. The check-in staff was friendly. The hotel is from the 1970s, so it had a retro feel to it and I liked the nostalgia I got from staying in an old hotel."

Bathroom was big and had a tub. Bonus private terrace. Close to metro, trams and buses. Would absolutely stay here again. The hotel decor was fabulous as well."

Having stayed at other 5 star hotels in Budapest, this is the only one I can say is truly 5 stars. The people working here offer the best service. And having the private terrace at the New York Cafe in the lobby is incredible. Great place.

Beautiful hotel with great breakfast and many amenities! It was a residential building with an inner courtyard which has been covered. Some original elements were preserved. Very good service and friendly staff. Well kept property. On a very high end shopping street and very close to many sites. Their Lebanese restaurant was excellent. I would stay here again.
First, the location is amazing, easy access to all central Budapest sites and dining. The facility is at the very high end of what you would expect from the Four Seasons. Most importantly, the staff also exceeded our highest expectations. Check in was easy, Helen at the front desk was incredibly helpful throughout both of our stays, took a personal interest in making sure not only the hotel but our trip was amazing. At the very top of our list of memorable hotels!
We have spent 4 days in this hotel and must say that it was wonderful in all aspects of an hotel. Having spent in past a lot in hotels worldwide, this is an outstanding hotel, with a unique concept having an excellent service starting from location continuing with room, breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese reception, SPA, cleanness and exceptional friendly staff.
We easily took a bus to the airport the day before our flight and then walked over to The Tribe. Easily walked to the terminal in the morning to catch our flight with no stress. Our room was large and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a delicious dinner in the restaurant.
This place is awesome, the hotel is beautiful and their breakfast is incredible! My husband and I looked forward to breakfast every morning. When I left the hotel in a rush; I realized I lost my ipad at the airport, I called the hotel, they found my ipad in the room and had it shipped to me. Totally trust the staff there and will stay again…
The Budapest Marriott Hotel is truly deserving of its 5-star rating. Every aspect of the hotel is excellent, especially the DNB Budapest restaurant. The room is very comfortable. There is a wide couch in front of the full width window. It can be used as an extra bed or seating area. We put our luggage on it so we don't have to put it on the ground and bend over to access our items. The staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Very nicely remodeled building. Breakfast space was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Rooms were large and bathrooms were exceptional.
Only negative comment was the pool/spa area didn't offer much seating or hooks for towels and robes. The floor in the spa area is also very slippery. And there is a sauna but no steam room.
I recently stayed at this hotel and found its location to be incredibly convenient, especially for those with early travel plans. The pricing was reasonable, and I was impressed by the exceptional food and bar service. The front desk team was outstanding, offering top-notch assistance throughout my stay.
However, I did notice that the cleanliness of the rooms could use some improvement. While the hotel excels in several areas, attention to room cleanliness could elevate the overall experience...
Nice, unique and well managed property. We enjoyed our room and were happily surprised by the variety quality and quantity of breakfast foods! From scrambled eggs with cheese to hummus, fresh fruits, sausage,bacon and pastries. All served with espresso or coffee and prosecco if you choose. Staff arranged our taxi back to the airport and had a bagged breakfast prepared for the trip. Many lovely complimentary items including wine at check in and nespresso and tea.
