There is Porec old town a 10 minute walk away and lots of activities along the beach too. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely be returning."
"We had an amazing time at this hotel. The buffet was amazing with large varieties of food and even containing vegan + vegetarian options. The hotel is very close to the sea, though distances differ depending on your room number. There were many enjoyable evening activities, both for adults and for children.

"It was our second time at Maistra Funtana. And we have already booked for next year, again. A very well organized and very good managed hotel. It should deserve at least 4*. Tasty food, clean and recently renovated rooms, a lovely pool kids pool and a nice beach with a lot of included sports offerings. Ideal gelegen zum Strand, fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar.
Einziger Minuspunkt war eine kaputte Klobrille, sollte behoben werden wenn neue Gäste ankommen.

"Schöne Unterkunft, , das Zimmer war prima und wurde regelmäßig sauber gemacht, vom Balkon toller Blick auf's Meer. Die Halbpension war sehr abwechslungsreich und es hat gut geschmeckt, Alles in Allem sehr gelungen u.empfehlenswert auch für längere Aufenthalte. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen haben uns sehr gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

Beautiful hotel in a lovely city. The hotel is the city's center piece. It is pure enjoyment. The hotel is impecable, the staff could not be nicer , the views are breathtaking and the breakfast is extraordinary. Can't wait to return.
Excelente hotel en un edificio histórico recientemente remodelado. Nos recibieron con una aperol spritz para mi y un café para mi esposa de cortesía. El hotel tiene transporte en bote gratuito para la isla del frente así como un shuttle gratis para el Pical Resort. Nos llevaron a la estación de bus sin costo y fue posible un early check in. Recomendado 100%
Beautiful hotel, the value for the price is remarkable. A bit far from town centre that requires about a half hour walk without a car. Staff are all excellent, and both the breakfast and dinner are great. Overall, incredible experience!
It's not obvious from the pics but the location is not on the beach but is a very easy walk to the beach and town (like five minutes). I was there to see how the lesser towns in Istria celebrate Advent which is a big deal in this region. Small town, big party!
I've been going to Porec for 5 years now, primarily in the summer months. The Parentium is far and away the nicest resort in the area and usually the most expensive. It is the only property I know of in the area with a beach that can be described as sandy. The staff has always been a little chilly. Being massively concerned with the number of people in your room. The Hotel is a really nice place with a nautical motif. It's right at the marina in Novigrad, and within walking distance to a few nice restaurants. The staff is super friendly, and the parking is outside, but secure. Breakfast is a small buffet, but they offer ala carte items as well. Overall, the place to stay in Novigrad.
Fantastic place to bring young kids! Right on the most beautiful lagoon with so many fun options for the kids to play- water slide, inflatable, snorkeling. Our apartment had two bedrooms, a very well-appointed kitchenette, and a little living room. Easy and beautiful walk into town, or can take a bike taxi or the tourist train. Excellent, kind service. It was great for our family and we’d love to stay here again!
The hotel staff was amazing and took good care of you. Emily was very helpful and extremely pleasant. The view was my favorite part. Room was very comfortable.
