"We stayed off season and during the week. All of our outings were an easy drive away. Our cabin smelled new and everything was new to like new condition. Perfect home base for day trips to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Keystone, Badlands Loop, Deadwood, Devils Tower, Spearfish Canyon, and Ellsworth Air Force Museum. The campground is very clean and very quiet. We would highly recommend to traveling couples or families. Staff was great!"

"Located in the Black Hills and very close to Mt. Rushmore. The food was excellent and the room was huge. The staff was fantastic, they are very friendly and helpful. This year was like our 5th year staying there because the wife and I go to the Sturgis Rally. At the last minute we had to take our almost 7 year old grandson with us and they were so good to him. we will definitely be going back next year and possibly later this year. "

"A truly old fashioned cabin vibe with great updates. Location worked great for our trip with easy access to everything we wanted to see. The staff was super friendly. Very clean. This is an older property so it is small, our room was not one pictured so I was surprised a bit by the size. But it is perfect if you plan to spend most of your time site seeing ."

"Stayed three nights, the location was convenient to Mt Rushmore and Custer State Park areas. The only complaint was the remote cabins were difficult to find in the dark. One more sign at the last fork in the road would be an asset."

"This place was incredibly quiet! So handy for taking advantage of Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park and the beautiful Spearfish area. At night you can view a lit up Rushmore from the firepit area. Would definitely stay here again!"
