This was an amazing holiday. Although not officially a luxury resort, Thundi Guest House's luxury lies in its location, beautiful nature everywhere, and it's people. Before I booked this resort, I didn't read the reviews, so I was nervous that I might make a mistake. However, my husband and I had great time there. When we arrived at the airport, we waited about an hour to get on the speedboat. Speedboat fee is pricey, but to get to the resort, it is the only way. Excellent hotel, a hidden gem at very reasonable prices. They offer a wide range of water sports, diving, and excursion activities. Diving classes were perfect and offer PADI certification. The hotel is quaint, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there is currently construction of 2 new facilities which obstruct the oceans views, and brings with it noise and debris. By no means in the hotel responsible for this, but they are affected. Staff is cordial and accommodating. They are helpful and eager to please.
Spent 10 nights at Crystal Sands hotel and fully enjoyed our stay. Clean, only 2yrs or so old hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel organizes snorkeling, sand bank, night fishing programs, too at a reasonable cost. The Hotel manager helped us with all kinds of questions, I can only recommend this hotel to anyone.
