Good amenities. The only bad thing is bathroom lighting. It is WAY to dark over mirror. The hand mirror did not light up. They need shower mats as shower is very slippery!
Hotel Jaguar was a nice new property. The staff was great! Extremely helpful and informative. They offer a city tour which was a really nice touch and a hotel shuttle included in your stay. Would definitely stay here again!
I almost never leave reviews for anything because I always believe that what is considered excellent for some people may not be for me and vice-versa. However, Castelo Santa Catarina is a great choice for so many reasons. The rooms are big and very clean, staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is gorgeous, after all it is a castle.

We had a great experience at the hotel. It looks a bit smaller and simpler than a 4-star hotel, but the amenities are nice and we also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The pizza restaurant, where breakfast is every morning, can be very crowded in the evenings on the weekend. In terms of the location, it’s probably 20-25 mins away from most of the tourist attractions, but we really liked our walk through the city at least twice every day. We loved our stay! The staff were very friendly and available, we were greeted with refreshments on arrival and personally walked to our rooms. Great amenities including free access to the steam room located in the spa, a great breakfast with options for all, and a welcome gift of port waiting for us in the room. The room was spacious, with a small kitchenette and a seated living space separate from the bedroom. It’s not a far walk from the central areas of Porto, with easy access to nice places...
We loved our three night stay at Memoria Porto. The staff treated us like royalty and our room overlooked the Douro River. One tip, we can offer is to take the # 500 bus to the coast and pay a lot less for authentic Portugese food, wine, and beer. We will definitely be back. The morning breakfast was filling and delightful.

it is very centrally located. Very comfortable and just 1 block from sao bento train station, and about 10 minutes from a couple other metro stations. The front desk staff super helpful.. i look forward to staying with them on my next trip to porto, and highly recommend this hotel.
