"Rather an odd property, at the race course. Took ages for staff to assist with check-in. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although no air-con. A fan was provided thankfully. We had a poor experience at the restaurant for dinner, staff were slow and didn't seem interested in serving us. Food was not impressive, either over or under-cooked. However, the cooked breakfast in the morning saved the stay, it was very good and quick."

"Beautiful hotel stayed 1 night while visiting stonehenge, the hotel was amazing, the staff fantastic and breakfeast cooked to order. In the centre of town plenty of parking at the hotel not cha4ged exra. local pubs great, we will be staying again on our way down to Cornwall. Just book amazing"

"This was our first ever stay in Winchester. The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming and took our baggage and stored this safely as we had arrived earlier than expected. Our room was spacious and clean. The reception team and health spa staff were magnificent and were able to deal with each and every one of our requests. The spa itself was exceptionally clean, due to the staff who clearly take pride in their work. The breakfast buffet had a good range of hot options as well as cereals, croissants and pastries and the coffee was good. The breakfast team were highly professional and welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Winchester Hotel and Spa which is in walking distance from the train station and historic City centre."
