Service was fantastic. I had an issue with my original room and they relocated me. Beach is amazing. Food is excellent although not cheap. The area is a bit secluded but really well maintained.
Very clean and comfortable. Feels like a new bungalow. Great water pressure. Comfortable Thai style bed. No breakfast available at the resort. Food is available from Thai carts and small seaside restaurants. 7-11 is a short walk away. Across the street is a long stretch or tree lined beach. The beach like many in Thailand has quite a bit of litter but the locals try to clean it up. You will need some sort of transportation if you’re planning to go to town. Traffic is light most of the time....
Tubtim's location makes it the perfect location for those who want to avoid the hustle & bustle of the rest of the island. It's at the end of a chain of resorts and beaches, which makes one side of the resort completely silent at night. The staff were all helpful and friendly and their english is more than enough to get things done. Off the beaten track. Secluded, quiet, and very relaxing stay. Narrow, very clean, good swimming beach across road from property. Very friendly staff who looked after our every need. We only stayed for two days due to an emergency change to our travel plan!, but would go and stay again when the opportunity presents itself again.
First be mindful of the taxi service to and from the Island. If you wish to get there fast, then of course look for it to be a higher price. The lower the price, the longer it takes. Staff does speak english, at least enough to be able to communicate. Breakfast is fair having both Thai and English breakfasts. To get around, use taxi service. There are no actual place for your things in the rooms of main building: four hooks only and one shelf, you have to keep all you belongings in you bags on the floor.
Mind, "inroom safe" means there are only one safe and it is in the private room of the only reception girl!!! By the way, she is quite often not at her place and you should walk about the territory to find her!!!
I had to visit a family member in the hospital and it is within 15 minutes walking distance. Great price for the night and the staff was accommodating when I needed to make a last minute booking change. Sheets were clean and the AC was super cold :) thank you!
