Hotels in Lunenburg Waterfront

The location was in the heart of Lunenberg, and even though the property was historic it had all the modern amenities you could need. Because we had stayed there we were able to get a reservation for the restaurant below- delicious meal!

The Rum Runner Inn is in a great spot in Lunenburg. Beautiful sunrise view of the harbor area. Perfect location for shopping and sightseeing downtown. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and at the inn, along with convenient access to many activities like whale watching. Easy access to parking as well.

Best place we have stayed at on this trip. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and very helpful. Our room was just remodeled. Bathroom was very roomy, new big tile shower with water that is hot not lukewarm. Comfortable beds with big fluffy pillows and big fluffy towels. It even had real coffee cups and wine glasses plus plates and bowls. Nicer than some of the name brand chains we have stayed at. I would definitely recommend. The views were amazing! There were large picture windows on both sides of the room-one looked on a woodsy marsh and the other onto the Atlantic. The room was small but had everything needed. They even included “whitener” for your coffee. A short walk back gave an amazing classic Nova Scotia view.❤️

We loved our stay at Fairmont House B&B! Fantastic staff and service and very convenient location right on waterfront of Mahone Bay. Michael and Thomas serve a delicious breakfast every morning that surpasses any restaurant in the area and the rooms are comfy, clean and have a great view. Highly recommend and we will be back again!

Wonderful, wonderful experience. The restaurant was fantastic, check in was a breeze, the room was clean and well taken care of. But, above all else, the staff at the check in counter were amazing. We had a one night reservation but got stuck in the huge and horrible July rain/thunder storm. Roads were closed down due to flooding and unsafe road conditions and the threat of a dam breaching. The staff from maintenance, kitchen, wait staff, house keeping, gardening and front desk went out of their way to make sure my stay was the best I ever had. I would go back in a heart beat .

Everything was quite good. The breakfast was good value however there is very little seating available.
