"Casa Obe was my last stop during 3 weeks of beach travel and it was the perfect ending! First the hosts JuanCarlos & Valentina welcome you like old friends! Alba will make you whatever you want and is an excellent cook, and Yammy makes a mean Chelada! What I loved was I felt like I was in a hippie town of the 70's but with modern convenience. Pool is at the very top, it's a good size and kept clean. There is no restaurant or breakfast available but you can get a coffee in the mornings. WiFi is only available near the eating and reception area. Rooms are big and have a hammock each, the beds are a little firm and there is only a fan. "Great place! Kind staff. Very clean. New buildings. Close enough to what you need but far enough for peace. Very near a path to one of the best spots on the beach which is a short walk. Hot showers and cook AC if that is important to you. Be sure to try the pizza place right on site. The rooms are a nice mix of luxury and minimalism. If you visit San Augustinillo I definitely recommend giving it a try. Thank you H2O"

Only downside is the area just survived a hurricane so there’s a lot of reconstruction happening in the property itself and areas around, which can be a problem because of the noise and appearance of certain areas.
