We stayed at many different places on Koh Lanta. The Crown Lanta was, by a large measure, the best place we stayed at. The grounds are gorgeous, the location wonderful, and the service impeccable. The breakfast was the second best in our entire Thailand stay (the best being at the unrivaled Mandarin Oriental, a 400+/night hotel).
For Xmas Eve, we were staying at the Cha-Da Resort, but decided to attend the Crown Lanta Xmas Eve event instead, which as fantastic.
Amazing staff and villa will make your stay luxurious and seamless. We had the most accomadting stay with Alanta Villa and I highly recommend staying their if you are ever in Koh Lanta. They picked us up from the Pier at no charge. The head staff member gave us a local cell phone to have and use during our stay to make things easy in contacting them. We had such an incredible experience staying at Zeavola! The facilities are very well kept, and the grounds are stunning. The staff was so accommodating and always had a smile on their faces. Truthfully, it was very difficult for us to come up with any suggestions for improvement. The only two things we could come up with were 1) there is no ATM in the area where Zeavola is located (so come with cash!) and 2) the website does not do a great job describing logistics on getting to the resort...
I loved this resort and wish we had spent more than one night here. I would describe the bungalows as minimalist but perfectly adequate for a stay in the islands where you spend most of your time outside anyway. They're also conveniently equipped with a well-sized mini fridge to cool your bottled water and yummy thai leftovers. Wonderful place to stay, right on the beach. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The bamboo huts were adorable. Air conditioning worked great. The food was delicious. Best French Fries and Veggie burger we had on the whole trip. The Massaman Curry was spectacular. Highly recommend this place to stay if you are visiting Koh Lanta.

Fantastic experience. So nice and quiet away from the hustle of Ao Nang. Super quiet, garden pool bungalows are the ultimate private space. Staff was excellent.
Very unique location and rustic. I liked it’s a small resort for mostly adults, so it was quiet and relaxing. We were in the family unit which did feel like camping with lockers for closets and the bigger cement wall bathroom with fans. Grateful for air conditioning in the bedroom unit. The master bedroom mattress was quite hard, not very comfortable. But the view from the front and back windows were amazing.
Staff organised everything - transport, tours, info, even breakdown service when we got a flat tyre and take out breakfast when we had early tour.
