"Loved this hotel right at the entrance to the medina. I stayed in the terrace suite and it was a beautiful view of the city and the water. Staff were super helpful and friendly. As others said, it was loud at times because you’re in the medina, but that didn’t bother me. Extra blankets, hangers, mini fridge, TV, couch in my suite. Excellent location — so close to the port, taxis and the bus. Coffeemaker was clogged, but not a huge issue. Would absolutely stay again."

"Stayed three nights as our base to see Tangier, Asilah and Tetoun. It is a good location in the Medina and close by to restaurants and other shops. However taxi will only drop you at the nearest point due to no road access at the hotel so prepare to walk roughly 200m uphill especially if you have luggges can quite tiring. Overall , it’s a lovely place with good staff , location and value for money."

"This was our first visit to Morocco and we wanted to be in the medina. We loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly and gave excellent recommendations. Breakfast was fantastic; we ate once on the rooftop terrace and once on the floor underneath. We recommend getting to breakfast right when it starts and not sitting on the rooftop—it gets a little hot and the seagulls can be a nuisance. "This is a very elegant small inn staffed by the most wonderful people. Everyone is kind and generous and the service is easy. The hotel location is perfect -- just outside of the busy medina on a quiet street in the Kasbah, walkable to all. The breakfast with a seaview is glorious and the rooms are gigantic and comfortable. "I had a wonderful stay at Dar Yasmine. Everything was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room stayed nice and fresh at night. It’s very well situated in the medina, with easy access to both the medina itself and the city, so it’s a great location for exploring. The people were incredibly kind and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, and so was the view. There is a mosque nearby, but I sleep with earplugs and had no issue at all with the sound. I slept very well. I felt very comfortable staying here and would definitely recommend Dar Yasmine, especially to solo travelers and women traveling alone. It’s a lovely, clean and welcoming place to stay."

"We had a great stay for 2 nights at Zoco Riad. The staff was so helpful and friendly! The breakfast was delicious and so much food, and they were able to arrange a car to the train station for us. The location is great - easy to walk all through the medina and close to other areas like the kasbah, grand socco, and the waterfront."

"It is a beautiful Riad, with traditional furnishings and decoration that are a feast for the eyes. A beautiful terrace with a stunning view of the city where you have breakfast each morning. The breakfast is huge and great care is taken to give different things on different days (we stayed 5 nights). For example, yogurt with fruit, freshly squeezed juice, croissants and pastries, choice of egg breakfast, local bread with jams, coffee... The hospitality is friendly and personal, always asking if they can be of help. We asked to change rooms as I preferred a different room that happened to be free and we were not only allowed to do this but help was given to move our stuff (we had unpacked!) all with graciousness. The room and bathroom adjoining, I really enjoyed - we had the room with the horse picture in pink, and the bathroom was light with a window (as did the room) and the shower with its tiling was lovely and worked very well. Every day when we came back the room was again spotless and tidied. I highly recommend Dar Sultan and would love to go back, perhaps for night or two on the way to visit Casablanca or Rabat! Many thanks for your superb hospitality, that helped make our stay so memorable!"
