The only problem was with the Hotels.com web site listing the room with breakfast and you had to choose the higher rate room to get breakfast, eventhough both rates said with breakfast. They honored the rate anyway.

We love the Karalis city hotel. The views of the bay, Pylos and sunsets were AMAZING! We loved the balconies. The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsite breakfast buffet was extensive. We stayed in two rooms and the more expensive room was the most modernized and had the most comfortable mattresses but the lower/mid price room was very good and modernized although we found these mattresses to be a bit firm.but it had a great couch- designed to be a perfect third bed. Driving through the town we were skepticle about what to find at the Kleopatra Hotel. Even the sign for the hotel is older and could use a facelift.
Inside everything was new renovations, clean and the friendliest multi lingual person at the desk. Demitri did a great job getting us settled and recommended the local taverna for dinner which was delicious. They had the best Greek Salad that we had during our 10 days.
Lady owner met us personally and showed everything around that was so touched. The food was so special and not pricey. Stuff is very friendly and professional. Especially waiter Katy. Highly recommend.
