The rooms and property were fantastic, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful and the food was delicious, great service! The only difficulty was finding parking for our rental vehicle but that is true for every hotel near the beach. It’s on the outer edge of Rethymno, making the location less crowded than the old town streets near the port. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the port from the hotel, but we didn’t mind the walk. We would absolutely book here...

We could not have been happier with our stay at Antica Dimora! The only negative we have is that we wish we stayed longer. Beautifully restored & preserved Venetian Palace! We had the room with a balcony overlooking the pool and church down the road and it could not have been more romantic!! We loved waking up to the bright blue skies and breathtaking view of the area. Wonderful location an facilities. Staff was awesome! Only downside is the let locals access the pools and take up a lt of chairs at both pools limiting access for guests that stay there.

Lovely quiet location on the outskirts of the village, in the evening the sound of the waves is very relaxing. Five minute walk to tavernas. Beaches close by.

Great location. If possible, get a sea-facing room on an upper floor, they have amazing balcony showers.
