Hotels in San Diego

This property is a dream come true for anybody who is looking to have a quiet, luxurious and a super spoiled vacation. Everyone and I mean everyone on their team is so helpful and polite. The property is located right next to the beach so the view is captivating. It’s walking distance from everywhere in the walled city. Their breakfast is too good and so filling that you don’t feel hungry until late afternoon. You can take my word for it that you will absolutely love the vibe of this wonderful...

The hotel is located in a very quite pretty street walking distance to everything. The hotel staff is the very best and extremely helpful . They also have a great breakfast!!! Definitely a place to return !!!

Great place. Relaxing pool. Impeccable service…sometimes almost too attentive. Room was lovely. Recommend the deluxe room with butler service. The butler made so many last-minute dinner reservations for us at the most popular places in town.

SUCH a beautiful place to stay, right in the heart of the walled city. We loved this place so much we wish we had stayed longer! Rooms felt grand, great decor, and rooftop was GREAT! Highly recommend.

Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family.

If you’re staying in the Walled City in Cartegena stay here! This property is amazing, with bright, clean & comfortable rooms. There’s a perfect view of the sunset from the rooftop and the outdoor terrace is great for enjoying breakfast (also amazing!!). It’s a small property so the service is personalized and their attention to detail is amazing. It’s also a superb location as you’re within the walled city but it’s not quite as rowdy and the central area can get at night.

Daniela and Jorge are amazing! They made our stay unforgettable by making sure we were always ok. The hotel is really beautiful and perfectly located. Central to main attractions without being in the midst of crazy sounds. Very safe location. Great breakfast. Clean pools (although we had to tell them twice to clean to rooftop one). Overall, an amazing hotel. We would love to come back.

Convenience to the historic places and tourists areas Great services by the hotel crew

I used to stay in Bocagrande area, because I was a bit skeptical about staying in the walled city due to high level of noise. This hotel is the best of the best in this sense. The location is perfect, the rooms are nice and modern. The personnel is very amiable, friendly and kind and always willing to help you with everything you need. I did not take any of the cabs that are associated to the hotel because they were more expensive than regular cabs, however, the security guard on duty did not...

This is a lovely place to stay.

The staff is amazing, and the place is very cool and pretty; it’s is an old house (1752!) converted to an hotel with only 12 rooms. Very convenient to everything and very comfortable place to stay.

Hotel was very nice and located in the middle of it all. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Very charming inside and outside, keeping the charming decor of the local streets. All the staff was so nice and friendly, we felt like the only people there. I think the small size makes it more personal.

our stay in the hotel kartaxa was perfect, every one in the hotel was very nice and ready to answer every questions we need, the plaza san diego was very close to the hotel, our travel to Cartagena de indias is the most beautiful place we see in the world, the plazas, churches, the narrow streets, the people, the food, etc., thanks a lot EXPEDIA Ileana Salazar and Ana M. Fajardo

Felt like home. Customer service outstanding. Perfect location inside the walled city centre walking distance to everything.

This hostel is the perfect place to stay. Not only is close to everything but the staff members make you feel at home. I was there for 4 days and believe i will be back soon ☺

Todo muy bien, recomiendo señalizar el exterior, de noche es difícil encontrar el hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay, our room was a good size with a king bed that was very comfortable, everything in the bathroom worked perfectly The staff were outstanding at every interaction and couldn’t do enough to advise, assist and recommend The food was very good, piping hot coffee with a great selection at the small buffet then eggs cooked to your preference The location is great, walking distance to all we wanted to see, there are buildings around the hotel that need renovation but that...
