"When traveling in Panama, I'm thankful for a hotel that doesn't smell musty. I am so sensitive to smells and so many hotels have their "signature scent" piped in a cause migraines for me. I am thrilled to say that Hotel Paitilla smelled fresh and clean. It also offered the most beautiful view of the ocean inlet. It was also quite quiet to our pleasant surprise. We will be staying at Hotel Paitilla again when we visit downtown. By the way, the buffet breakfast was super yummy."

"The hotel is a little outdated, but everything was in order. If you don't mind things a bit old and worn, it's a great budge hotel. The the room was spacious with a desk, chair and mini fridge, the shower was hot, the sheets, towels and room clean, the staff friendly and a breakfast of eggs and toast included. The location was great, parks nearby, ocean front park 2 blocks away with a "Panama" sign. Streets looked and felt safe, yes there were some homeless people but less than I have seen...

"Great location walking distance to everything and safe area. The best part is the size of the place and the housecleaning is excellent. The manager is on site 24/7 and all of them were extremely nice and helpful with everything. The only negative is it is on the Main Street coming into the area and it is a one way street"
