"We have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it but we were quite disappointed to find on arrival after a hot day sightseeing to find the pool closed at 5pm due to lack of staff. The air con in the rooms also wasn't very efficient so had to rely on a fan. It was a very uncomfortable night. On the plus side, staff were lovely and the food was great. Location was perfect for us."

"We stayed at Passford for two nights and really enjoyed our visit. The grounds and gardens were beautiful, such a tranquil environment and a fitting setting for such an interesting and attractive property. The hotel is steeped in history, Super amenities. Comfortable room with cosy beds. The staff were friendly and welcoming; very helpful and accommodating of additional requests. An open buffet of both cooked and continental breakfast; everything was fresh and tasted yummy. Perfect way to start the day. The restaurant did not disappoint in the evenings. A wonderful range of food, beautifully prepared and presented. Overall, a very enjoyable stay thanks to a good team of staff and lovely surroundings."

"My daughter and I decided to have a few nights away and as we had the sun on our side for the week we decided to stay in the UK. We came across this hotel and although expensive we decided we weren't paying for flights and booked two nights. How very special from the moment we arrived and had our car parked for us. Lovely Zara and Eugania helped with our check in and showed us around the hotel, outdoor pool and spa. What a wow factor when we were shown to our Croquet room, all air conditioned, it had a bathroom with double shower and bath, a dressing room with everything you needed included. In the main bedroom it had doors and a balcony overlooking the croquet lawn and the biggest bed with the softest bedlinen, all tea and coffee facilities were in the room with complimentary biscuits. Dinner was booked in the restaurant on the first night which was delicious and such friendly attentive waitress staff. we tried The Kitchen the second night with a lift to the restaurant in a buggy. The food was equally as good there. The cocktails back in the bar afterwards were great and took our expresso martinis to our wonderful room. We made full use of the gym, classes and the spa with a wonderful hour long massage. We walked to the beach, swam in both outdoor and indoor pools, we played pickleball, croquet, putting and could have taken the bikes around the trail, but alas, run out of time. We will be back, thank you all so much for a wonderful stay."

"All staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location for the town, the bus and train station and hover craft, however the hovercraft is quite noisy if your room at the front of the building. Good food at all meals and the free cooked breakfast was a real bonus."
