Nice place with an awesome view of the ocean. Beautiful, yummy breakfast was well worth the extra cost. Very friendly and helpful staff. Right next to the center of town, but still private, safe and relatively quiet with big trees great for viewing wildlife. Nice, clean comfortable room with ceiling fan. Shared bathroom and shower were unexpected but likely because I just didn't notice it in the description of the room.

El Colibri is an excellent choice for a week long stay in Playa Carrillo. Our kids loved the pool and were very comfortable roaming about the property and surrounding area. The walk down to the beach was very reasonable, as was access to the market and several small restaurants. Of course I need to mention El Colibri's outstanding Argentinian parrilla.
