We loved Casa Blu. The architecture, the history, the staff , both parlors and roof top lounges. We had a few bottle of wine in the late afternoon with the ocean view across. The breakfast so fresh and plentiful; and the Colina Alegre location and neighborhood. They accommodated for a very early breakfast at 3am. Thanks Rodrigo and everyone. Wish we come back again.
Our room with a patio facing the ocean was wonderful. Nice accommodations and hospitality. Good location, easy to get the bus into town. Only downside is the barking seals on the giant rock across the street. Barking contined all day and night.
Fun place. If you’re into spotless not for you, the stairs are steep and tricky, building needs quite a bit of maintenance. Built in the 1800’s I believe. Folks that run it couldn’t be nicer, the area has a lot of character and very fun, also safe. Great restaurants, pubs and cafes everywhere. Very friendly neighborhood, everyone nice. Good breakfast at the hotel, bed comfy, AC worked good. Excellent place to experience a bit of Chile, wife and I liked it a lot. It’s funky and raw, not neat and...
The staff was very accommodating. We arrived early from our flight to Santiago and they took our bags while we explored the city. The breakfast was simple but nice and the rooms were big.
The home is lovely with lots of greenery out side. The location was near transportation services giving easy access to all the sights.
The service was good, the interior was clean, our room was bright and roomy.

Unique, quirky, different, memorable. This is a great hotel that will ensure a memorable stay while in Valparaiso. Each hotel room is an adapted shipping container. All furniture in the hotel is recycled/repurposed from other uses. Great views from the room balconies, the breakfast area and the rooftop bar. The service was excellent and the breakfast offerings varied and great quality.
Perfect spot if you prefer a cozier bed and breakfast type experience than a flashy big box hotel. Wonderful breakfast. We sleep great! Super central to a ton of restaurants and like 5-7 minute walk to the ocean
El lugar es hermoso, sus instalaciones impecables y su desayuno variado y delicioso. Destaco el espacio creado para niños “Marbe Kids” con sus juegos y monitores hicieron de la experiencia para mi hija mucho más entretenida. Lo que no me gustó, fue que las habitaciones no tenían buen aislamiento acústico, se escuchaba TODO de las habitaciones colindantes. Fue tanto que tuvimos que pedir cambio de habitación.
It is in the best part of Valparaíso, the safest area with excellent restaurants near. The staff is helpful and all speak English. Sophia was my favorite, she was kind and helpful. Pablo the manager was like a long lost friend. You choose your own breakfast options. The value here is incredible. I would return in a heartbeat.
