Outstanding place to stay! Beautiful grounds, great accommodations and excellent staff! We saw so many wonderful birds thanks to their feeding station. This resort far exceeded my expectations. Even though it was low season, and the resort appeared to be almost empty of guests, it felt fully staffed and the service was excellent in every respect. The tour around the resort when you first arrive is great. We were shown the property by Tony Castro. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak English very well, which helps those without strong Spanish. The grounds are beautiful! The little hiking trail is fun and the multiple hot tubs with some privacy were a nice place to relax. They even serve food and drinks at the pool! The view from the hotel is incomparable! You can have a very nice breakfast (free) surronded by a breatiful garden while the volcano is right in front of you! There is also a rose garden in the backyard of the hotel. Although it's named as garden, it is really an epitome of larger rain forest! Very nice!!!!! A lot of humming birds! We stayed in Villa Jade at Villas Jawara and it was incredible! The property has the best view of the Arenal volcano, is beautifully furnished and decorated, and the service from Santiago was exceptional. Would highly, highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back.
This is our third stay at Linda Vista, there is no other view like this around, waking up to the sound of birds and the lush green surroundings with a view to die for of not only a full view of the volcano but a breathtaking view of lake Arenal, this is this hotels biggest asset.
