I can't say enough positive things about soulshine. There is something very special about this place. This place was a rare find in a more developed part of Costa Rica. Owner and staff were lovely. Location to beach was an adventure in itself. Diner was delicious and fairly priced as was breakfast. Great low key place. Saw monkeys too. The boardwalk through mangroves to beach sunset was a beautiful surprise.
A very pleasant stay. A bit out of the way, but I suppose that is part of it's charm. A nice pool and relaxing environment. Breakfast was good, but not a lot of choice. Don't go there expecting a beach vacation as it is a 45 minute drive to the nearest beach. Road to the property is pretty rough, but that's typical of off the beaten path properties. Hotel was awesome, staff is great. If I had a complaint I’d have to say the cost of the food. 1st night of arrival got a hamburger, a salad, and the wife and I each got one drink. The bill was $75. From that point on we went and ate at Tamarindo. Our 1st day in Tamarindo breakfast, lunch, and dinner was $80 total!

My husband I have have stayed at this hotel 2 times now and really like the staff, facilities and the location. It’s located in perfect walking distance to whatever you are looking for. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this goes
We absolutely loved this hotel from check in to check out and everything in between. It was close to the action, but far enough to where you didn't have to deal with noise. The back gate to the "alleyway" directly to central road was absolutely perfect so you didn't have to walk down the rocky dirt road near the front entrance. We loved our stay at The Coast Beachfront Hotel! The staff is amazing. The room was awesome. Wonderful experience and we will be back. It was even better than some of the places we’ve stayed beachfront in the US. We can hardly wait to go back!
