There is plenty of parking and we were greeted immediately. We were able to reserve the private onsen every day. The hotel staff were always so friendly and helpful. Their English was very good and if there was something difficult to say, we were able to use a translator app. Food was amazing and well rounded. Breakfast was different...

"We stayed for one night at this hotel - it was fantastic. One of the best features is that it is up in the hills close to the chairlift site up to the volcanic cone. It is also far away from the very touristy coastal region and nestling in some very expensive privately owned homes, which were very pleasant to drive around. There is nobody staffing the hotel but checking in was a breeze as they communicated very clearly with us by messaging. We turned up and our room was open with the key inside....
