Great location close to everything, walking distance

This hotel was a great find. Very clean very nice people. Highly recommend this anyone that doesn't want to surprise at hotel. I could not have been happier.

I wish it would have a place to watch the beach clothes and hanging place but everything else was good.

Super clean and inviting. Bungalow has the basics - fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes. Property is constantly cleaned. Courteous staff. Great location. Beach towels provided. Balcony has great view. Would come again.

Hotel is very nice, clean and is 5 min walk to the plaza. Staff is friendly, helpful and pool area is excellent. !!!!!! Will definitely come back here.

This was a clean and pretty property right on the beach, we loved the beach entrance. I went with my parents and sister (family vacation!) and Melaque is the cutest little town. Las Hamacas is perfectly located and we were able to walk to downtown for dinner.

Went for our 30th anniversary. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved our massages. The views are breathtaking. The rooms and all facilities are very clean and the staff was so friendly.

I love staying at Cabo, as it is truly stunning! The grounds are beautiful, the staff is welcoming and the pool is clean. The location is wonderful as you can take a short walk to town if you want a bit more activities.

Our kids loved the upgrades suite. The service was amazing and the place is beautiful

Casa Misifus was perfect for my wife and I. We loved having a refrigerator and kitchenette, the a/c was SO nice to come home to, and the pool was perfect and refreshing. The proprietors were friendly and helpful and very accommodating about our breakfast needs. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend it. Our only complaint is that it's a much longer walk to the beach than we'd thought. A lot of sites list it as one block from the beach, but really you have to walk into town...

We took the bus from PV to Melaque, hoping that our stay at Star of the Sea would salvage a vacation that had been anything but restful....from the moment we were picked up at the bus station by Eileen until we left, 4 days later, we were treated like royalty! I have looked at all the hotels in Barra and this is by far the best one. Its right on the beach, you sleep with the sound of the waves, the rooms are clean, beds comfy and its great value for beachfront. And the owner works miracles!
