"Amazing stay here! I can’t say enough good things! Love the room, the bed was super comfy and the terrace was lovely. The kitchenette had everything, and the mini fridge was bigger than most I’ve seen in a hotel room (would have loved a small freezer but that’s a small con). There was a bit of noise from the restaurant below but after 10pm it was all quiet. The location was fabulous! Shout out to Cafe Nook, loved their coffees and Gateau Victoria! Will definitely be back."

"Our favourite place to stay in Montreal. The property is exceptionally well-maintained, clean, organized, and features modern furnishings and amenities throughout. Its location is one of the best in Montreal, with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy walking access to the subway station. The area is also very safe, making it comfortable to explore day or night. Highly recommended and always our first choice when visiting Montreal"

"Great location, easy access to the metro and the buses. Many restaurants and bakeries and shops nearby. Wonderful atmosphere in general, will stay again next time we visit Montreal. Thanks."

"This is the third time we have stayed at Auberge de la Fontaine, and as always, we were incredibly pleased with the accommodations. Our room was clean and nicely decorated with a lovely view of the park. The location is ideal, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. This is our go-to hotel when visiting Montreal."

"This was a good spot for walking and enjoying the residential neighbourhoods of Montreal. Despite being on a street that is busy during the day, it was totally quiet at night. We both got a good night's sleep. The room was clean and met our basic needs without breaking the bank"

"It was large & lovely. Parking included. Close to pick up spot for hop on & hop off bus tours which were wonderful. Excellent bagels just around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay. I had to make last minute reservtion due to cancellation of prior booked place. This would be my first choice if I made another trip to beautiful Montreal."

"Price was reasonable, room was clean and staff was easy to communicate with. The location was also very accessible since it was on the main road of St Denis. Will book again in the future!"

"Great bargain in a great location. Eclectic hotel. Restaurants galore and nightlife right outside the door. I stayed to see Alanna Sterling in concert at Urbanista, a bar three blocks away. Whenever they return to this area of Montreal for another show, I will definitely stay at Pensione Popolo."

"Excellent hotel. Clean and modern. Good pool and wonderful breakfast. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction in the area so it was impossible to walk anywhere. Otherwise an excellent stay."

"Great location and very pet friendly. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Parking was a little difficult as you had to rely on street parking. Many space were only for permit holders."

"The apartment was perfect for us. Good size, comfortable living space and nice beds. Nice local area with a good range of shops and cafés."

"We stayed on the bottom floor but got access to two bathrooms and a full kitchen. Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. It’s an old building so keep that in mind. I enjoyed the charm and reminded me of staying in my first apartment. I would stay there again!"

"The hotel is very close to shopping and restaurants. Walking distance to old montreal and notre Dame cathedral. It's a beautiful hotel and rice ambience"

"The location is perfect. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond. They are very nice and courteous. Breakfast was great."

"Fantastic staff and location. Love Bar George, a gem"

"Breakfast is the star ! Was great and time to meet fellow travellers . Location is great - 5 min from a metro and 30-40 easy walk to Montreal Old City . Rooms are basic with comfortable beds . Highly recommended."

"Central location downtown. We could walk to everything. Staff was great"

"Very nice property. Great value. Excellent location in central Montreal. Welcoming and helpful staff. Parking building located nearby. I’d stay here again!"

"Well placed, shops nearby, great staff"

"The room was spacious and had everything we could possibly need. Staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee in the room was better than a lot of hotels and at the breakfast area was even better. Location was good with easy access to parking and a short walk to great dining options on St Denis street. We’d stay there again if it available the next time we’re in Montreal."
