Owner is great! great place to stay, safe, clean, rooms are very nice. Overall one of the best places in Somerset west.

We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable from the beginning of our stay until the end. Pete and Carola made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us free reign of the guest house. They were interested in us, our visit and, made recommendations of areas to visit. Breakfast was fantastic with a continental style, as well as a fully cooked breakfast made to order each morning. Incredible property. Fantastic stay to visit wine country. The room, food amenities and staff were all top notch. Wish we had another night there. 2 nights was too short.

Beautiful rooms and breatfast was excellent. The only reason I didn't give 5 was because carpet was poorly fitted and 2 lights did not work. Need own transportation to get anywhere. We were recommended 2 very nice restaurants for dinner

On arrival you would not really know what to expect as you drive up the steep driveway but even then you can see how well maintained the Estate is. You enter the hotel from the rear, where Reception is located and they then take you to the verandah for welcome drinks and the view is breath taking. The Villa we stayed in was well equipped and had everything you could require to self cater. The only slight downside was the main bedroom was a tad cramped. Everything provided was exquisite...
