Our stay at the Eikendal Lodge was really great! The place is in a perfect location, the lodge itself has a lovely garden, the room was absolutely perfect, and the service could not have been better.
From the environment to the professionalism of the staff, I have to tip my To the amazing experience we had over there at Silver Forest! Would recommend this place 10 out of 10 times!
Arrived at closing..but ventured off intobtown..found plenty of fun spots to enjoy and drink local wine.
Breakfast was yummy..really enjoyed the wine tasting at 1030 am.. very informative never felt rushed

Excellent stay
This is a phenomenal country house which has just a spectacular view and atmosphere. Their morning buffet was the best in all hotels i have ever had in south Africa. It was convenient to all the vineyards yet secluded enough to enjoy the peace of the country. I only wish we had stayed longer but alas could not. When I go back to stellebosch I will definitely stay here!
The property was immaculate. The rooms were so thoroughly thought through and luxurious. But the staff were even better, responding quickly to every need. Fabulous stay!
We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable from the beginning of our stay until the end. Pete and Carola made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us free reign of the guest house. They were interested in us, our visit and, made recommendations of areas to visit. Breakfast was fantastic with a continental style, as well as a fully cooked breakfast made to order each morning. Guest house was in close proximity to Stellenbosch, Cape Town, Hermanus, Somerset West and Gordan's Bay...
