"The staff was really friendly and always helpful, simple breakfast but has everything you need including vegetarian options. Staff was accommodating for extra food or other options. Location is good, is close to the old quarter but not in the middle of the “chaos”. Close to the Ho Chi Min mausoleum and embassy’s so nice walking areas.
Staff allowed luggage to stay extra days in the hotel and also allowed to use the shower facilities in the spa at no extra charge for evening departure from hotel.
Gym and pool would use some polishing. Overall very sleek boutique hotel - very nice stay in Hanoi.

"We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is just amazing and so personable. The rooms are generous in size with a very comfortable bed. We stayed one night at this hotel while touring Hanoi and then used this hotel as our base as we traveled to back and forth to Sapa and Halong Bay. Because would miss breakfast since took a night train, the hotel staff provided us with boxed meal for the train. Such a nice welcome back both times and rooms were ready with our stored luggage already in room. The manager and other staff greeted us by name the entire time which is quite impressive. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of offerings and additionally could special order from menu. Everything was delicious. Personal service with coffee as well was a very nice touch as used to self serve. Highly recommend the Royal Palace Hotel.
Conveniently located in old quarter for walking to shopping and dining.
