The grounds go down to Sundays River, so amazing view. Room was super comfortable— deep bathtub! Breakfast and delicious. I wish I could’ve stayed another night or two.

Very nice and quiet place to stay when going to Addo national park.

It was a great place to stay. My wife, me and our little son stayed in the Elephant suite with view over towards the river. It was a clean little Apartement with everything you need. Very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious too. Strongly recommend this place if you want to visit the Addo Elephant Park. The South entrance is just a couple of minutes drive away. If you have time enough also visit person park. It's entrance is also just a minute away. Great place to spend some time.

Very nice room and the grounds were beautiful with succulents, trees, bushes and flowers. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and the service exception. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

JP is a great host and the guest house is perfect! Breakfast is super excellent with a view of the once and a beautiful sunrise. This is your place to stay… room was big and confy and this just the best place to stay in Port Elizabeth. My wife and I loved the stay!

The hotel is situated at a prime location with great amenities within walking distance.

This is an "Out of Africa" style tented camp with no electricity! Visitors stay in quaint, private tents with private bathrooms. Daily safari's are led by knowledgeable guides. Ample food and beverages are included. There's room for 6 visitors total, so the experience is intimate and the staff treat you like family. Definitely worth experiencing. They handled our transportation to and from Port Elizabeth Airport.

We had an amazing stay at Shamwari! The game drives were amazing, the Bayethe luxury tent was really cool, and the service was wonderful. I hope to make it back to SA someday, but if not, I will remember Shamwari as one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed.

Les chambres sont hyper spacieuses et cerise sur le gâteau, j ai retrouvé la voiture lavée le lendemain sans avoir rien demandé. Anybody else who has travelled with kids though South Africa knows that booking family-sized accommodations that are safe, clean and affordable can be a challenge. Our stay at Happy Lands B&B was a welcome sanctuary on our route. Mike and Nita were wonderful hosts, and went out of their way to make this our best stay of our 3 week trip. We had the most amazing time. Everything was wonderful! The room was beautiful. The staff were so friendly. The food was great....not to mention the fabulous guides and the beautiful animals on safari!

Exceptional property, design, and experience with top hospitality. The common areas are picture-perfect overlooking small waterholes frequently visited by playful warthogs, curious antelope, and brightly colored birds while you eat breakfast and lunch.
