This has to be one of the most friendly hotels we've ever stayed in. From the two hugely welcoming guys on Reception when we checked in to the absolutely amazing lady, called Tam, in the breakfast restaurant, everyone was so polite, helpful and genuinely happy to be of assistance.

Had a business trip to Donington Circuit Race Track. My company put me here and overall a great experience. The free breakfast was very good, a lot of choices and fresh made to order. The lunch and diner was also very good though it took some time for the food to come out. But we made up for it was drinks. We stayed at the cottage and the rooms smelled a bit musky. The beds were slightly flat but I wouldn't expect anything more for a hotel in the English county side. The scenery was beautiful...

Asked if we could get a coffee from the machine which was in the breakfast area but was asked to get cups from our room I found this rude and surprising, the person did not want the cups in the breakfast room to be used due to breakfast time in the morning
