"Superb stay. Really good location if you require quiet strolling around the area with various shops and conveniences nearby. Hotel is very well designed and interior is stylish and welcoming Rooms are spacious some with balconies which was a must for us. Food was tasty and fresh and service great. Attractions are nearby. Very enjoyable stay and definitely recommend. If only time allowed we would have extended the trip. "

"The hotel is located c!ose to the Mall area which is in walking distance. If other factors addressed price would be reasonable. Good views from deluxe rooms. However, this hotel has some serious issues to be addressed. 1. Rooms are not clean 2. Bathroom is old and some functional issues..sinks blocks 3. Staff try their best to help. But they could be more welcoming and seem to be poorly trained. At reception whilst dealing with one customer they start to serve another !eaving the first customer...

"The front desk was super gracious polite and helpful. They even gave free upgrade because bathroom of Scottish villa room wasn’t pristine clean. The property is very elegant for nature lover wanting peace and getaway from city crowd but still being inside the city. "

"Bedsheets had holes, Hotel is very down and we need to go down a steep passage to reach hotel. 25 minutes from Shimla Railway Station. 15 Minutes from Mall Road."

"It was very conveient to be able to walk to the hotel from the train station on arrival. The staff were exceptionally friendly and service oriented. I was pleased with the size and cleaniless of the room. Glad there was extra blankets as Shimla does get cold. Mornings i enjoyed having the breakfast options, paratha and chai and scrambled eggs got me going for the day!"

"First They said, they don't book through expedia. Then they moved me some other location in Kufri which 1.25 hour apart. After 1 day stay, they said, I have to move further. then I canceled my stay after spending 3 hours on call with Expedia and Hotel sales team. "

"Very very bad experience and that too on the last day of the year. They were not ready to honour the web booking and were ready to give a written letter to that effect. Ultimately good sense prevailed and we checked in. Mediocre rooms and facilities. You must double check the properties and hotels before you put on your website."
