"It was very difficult to find the property as from the car park the entrances aren't numbered so you've no idea where you are going. The property very austere and basic, which initially was a little unwelcoming. It also had a strong stale smell so had to open the window. However the parking is easy and the facilities and setting good so for the price I'd stay for a short trip again."

"A Wonderful Stay at Óbal Hotel Marbella We had a wonderful stay at Óbal Hotel Marbella and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Marbella. The location is five-star—right next to the beautiful Old Town and within an easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops, and everything else Marbella has to offer. It is hard to imagine a more convenient location for exploring the city on foot. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Their genuine hospitality made a real difference. Our room was large and comfortable, with a very useful, well-designed bathroom and excellent water pressure—something that is often overlooked but makes a big difference. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking view from our room. We had a large, wide balcony overlooking Marbella's Old Town, and it was simply beautiful to sit there and take in the view. The breakfast was excellent, with a very good selection and quality that got each morning off to a great start. The rooftop bar and pool are another highlight. It is a beautiful place to relax, enjoy a drink, and take in the views over Marbella. Overall, Óbal Hotel combines an unbeatable location, comfortable rooms, beautiful views, excellent breakfast, and genuinely warm service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Óbal Hotel on our next visit to Marbella."

"Great view from the property. We liked the place overall. They have onsite parking for a fee or you can park on the street which is not busy since this hotel has a rural location. The only annoying thing we found was that the pool "closes" at a certain time (7 pm comes to mind) and they literally put up a fince around it to keep everyone out. In the morning the pool is not available until almost noon. The town of Mijas seems like a total tourist trap but has some decent food if you can find the place! The town is built into a hill and the streets are steep and winding. Free parking is limited but there is a garage if all else fails."
