You will be amazed! This is a very personal hotel with unique decorations and plants and flowers. The meal service is exceptional and memorable - bring your camera! Everything is done to make you feel at home and pampered. It is better than the Ritz in terms of service. Try it - you'll like it!
The property was right on a beautiful lagoon filled with coral, fish, rays and a few small sharks. The restaurant is facing the water and is really cute and the food is great. Only a short walk away is the Moorea Hilton which has the best crepes. Kayaks and paddle boards were included in the nightly fee which was really nice.

Bryan at the front excellent was great, the staff at Le Cook restaurant were awesome and so positive. We have enjoyed our discussions with the French crew (Simon and Leo), the Brazilian / Fortaleza Maria as well as the 2 local vahinés Yvette and Liane.

nice hotel, great staff. Some condition issues. We weren't able to get a key card for our room and had to be escorted up to get in our room. No hot water at first; then ONLY boiling hot water ... not great for showering or brushing teeth or most anything. When we reported it, they moved us next door into a suite from a standard room.
But the front desk (especially Melodie) solved our problems and helped us with our computer issues, always with a smile. Eventually we got keys for our suite....
This was our first visit to Tahiti and our first stop was Moorea. This hotel is something we will always remember. The staff are the friendliest people we've ever met...Every single worker greets you with a happy Tahitian hello! They'll help you arrange anything at the front and make sure you're happy. Splurge for the Overwater bungalow... It's sooooooo worth it. The snorkeling here was the best we've ever had (and blew bora bora out of the water). Right under the bungalows are hundreds of fish....
We did alot of research and read reviews before selecting Sofitel. So glad we did. We had an all over wonderful experience. Rooms were beautiful comfortable and well done, we had all we needed and more. The property is beautiful the Coral gardens and lagoon is fabulous. We enjoyed snorkeling, with all kinds of stunning tropical fish. The beach is best on island there. The food was great, we loved K and Pure both. Breakfast is worth it and what a view. Bar view is great and drinks and burgers...
We booked the honeymoon cottage, which is a separate ocean-front fare surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. It has a canopy bed and a single bed where we set our suitcases. There is a fully furnished kitchenette with a half size fridge, cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker and kettle, and toaster. All the cookware and dishes are furnished as well. We love shopping at the local markets and preparing our own meals, so this was perfect! Bring your own coffee or tea, and seasonings. Pizza Daniel...
We loved our stay at Residence Sunset Beach! Alex was very friendly and helpful during check in, and the room was spotless and perfect for our stay! We especially loved the beach access from our unit and stargazing from the back yard and beach at night. The property was conveniently located near a number of great local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks for helping make our trip wonderful!
We had a quick overnight here and could not have been happier. Quiet, convenient and comfortable. Very good price. No restaurants nearby but we arrived after dinner so it was fine. Take other reviewers advice and don’t try and walk here!
Clean, updated bungalows just steps from an outstanding beach. I would rather stay at the Lodge rather than the high priced hotels because of the authenticity. We were able to use the beachy, modern common area to relax, cook meals or watch the sunset. We walked to nearby hotels and saw that they were very dated, so we felt confident that we made the right decision staying at the Moorea Beach Lodge. With a gated driveway, the property was secure. Food trucks and a supermarket are within walking...
Beautiful small hotel right on the beach. Snorkeling, kayaking, swimming at your finger tip. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice rooms in bungalows, but no work space. Awesome sunsets!
Absolutely beautiful well maintained property! We stayed 3 days out of 6 at this location and we should have stayed here the whole time. Exquisite grounds and comfortable bungalows with every home amenity you need. The host was very hospitable and a joy. You will be treated at a very high standard and feel like you are on vacation. I cannot recommend this place enough. Dont bother booking anywhere else.
This newer hotel was excellent for our three night stay on Moorea. Very clean and quiet, nice staff, and very comfortable accommodations. We had a beachfront bungalow, and really enjoyed the stocked kitchen and lovely patio. The beach is really nice, with decent snorkeling just offshore. There is a small shopping center a few miles away, convenient for anything you might need. We will return!
We usually stay at the Motel right above the airport. The beds are very hard there so tried here. Owner met us at airport. Great place very close to airport. Will stay tlat Manaevafrom now on.
