Friendly owner, property looks nicely kept and they are continuously making upgrades to keep this place pleasant and nice. The shower is great, with powerful pressure with the main shower head, and it has a handheld shower heaad option to the side of the main shower which is real nice. The area around the property is quiet and rich with trees and fresh green grass, the weather is cloudy at times and wet which makes the enviornment so relaxing to walk and explore.
The rooms were as advertised… small. The location and staff were beyond 5 stars, which made the small rooms well worth it. The price was also very good for the location. We became members, and plan to return again one day.
The location of this place is great! 12 minute walk to the British Museum, 15 minute walk to Chinatown for incredible dim sum, 7 minute walk to the theater district. half a block from the Holborn underground station and a straight 50 minute ride back to Heathrow for like $6. Faster and a lot cheaper than the ride share it took to get there.
The hotel provided tea milk and hot chocolate but no coffee. Treats were also complimentary.
Room and hotel was always tidy and clean.
Within the financial district we only had the london tower and the tower bridge nearby so we had to take the underground to most places for sightseeing.
It’s 4 minutes walk to the underground tower station.
After dark the walk from the tower station or park station can be dark on some streets. Not dangerous just our daughter felt uncomfortable a few times.
The hotel has been nicely renovated and the rooms while small, are well furnished and modern. The staff are all very nice. The area is safe and there are plenty of good places to eat and is very walkable and easy to get anywhere in London from. For the price, it’s a great deal. My usual place is just a few blocks away but was full. It has more by way of amenities (gym, pool, sauna) but would have been 800 dollars more had I stayed there. I would stay here again

Delightful experience to stay here. Quirky, boutique hotel with personality in the building and the staff. Attentive, highly responsive and welcoming staff. Like the building, the room was non-standard in its layout, making the most of the available space and the location. Well equipped and well appointed room with all amenities and while a few of the furniture items showed some wear, the mattress was firm, bedding was crisp and clean and the toilet and shower were immaculate. Lovely hotel right near the Christmas market and all the fun things to do. Cute rooms with kettle, and tea options, robes, slippers etc. huge bathroom. All very clean and comfortable. Staff were always friendly.
Very good, small and cute hotel. You can walk 10-15 minutes to many tourist attractions. Rooms are not very roomy but relative to price you pay in London, this is good value.
Absolutely wonderful hotel! Once of the best I have stayed in! It is close to everything important, all walkable- attractions, restaurants, shops, transportation. Our stay was amazing! Stayed 6 nights and the room was clean, spacious enough, and comfortable. The location is great! Right by a beautiful park, minutes from the British Museum, and just about a 20-30 minute walk into Covent Garden, Soho, and Piccadilly. It is also a couple of minutes walk to the Piccadilly tube, a 15-minute walk to Kings Cross station, and you can get to any bus stop and other tube lines in less than 20 minutes.
