I chose this Hotel due to its great central location near the historic city of Intramuros and Chinatown and its location is great. However, I have a warning for solo travellers - I was approached by a street gang of children on the main bridge and threatened and almost robbed - so would advise not to walk in the local area. I reported it to the management of the hotel and front desk to warn other visitors. "

This property was in the middle of Chinatown, right next to Binondo Church. Staff are amazing, from security guard, bellboys, front desk, to waiter. Each and everyone are happy to help. I will definitely come back here again.
From arrival to departure we were treated extremely well, special thank you to Jonathan and the team in the lobby bar 'cafe macaron' for taking care of us with humor and professionalism each evening and reviving our souls :)

Lobby was fully staffed with about 20 people urgently waiting to assist you with your needs. Room was very large and nice. A welcome plate with artisan chocolates and mini pastries where ready for me to enjoy on my coffee table. I would highly recommend you stay at this hotel on your visit in Manilla. A++++
I truely enjoyed my stay at ascott makati and so are my visiting friends and relatives.. our one bedroom executive suites is spacious nicely decorated.. just above Glorietta Mall Complex and next to SM mall.. our room is overlooking the pool on one side and on the other side the Glotietta 1 rooftop which connects holiday inn... with dinners selection we celebrated our relatives graduation at K-Pub BBQ and on another night at Moonshine restaurant.. highly recommended definitely will return again...
Since arriving, was treated with prompt, friendly and super courteous service by all staff members from the bellhop to manager! Clean rooms, fast internet, nice swimming pool made for a very satisfying business stay of 10 days
Property is clean, staff was very helpful and friendly.. as i was waiting at the lobby for my room to be ready, i saw the receptionist how she assisnt the dissable customers she was very helpful and accomodating as well.. what a plesant stay.
