This might be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff (serving, concierge, bellman, maids - all of them) were the warmest, most sincere and helpful people. It was really a pleasure staying here. The views were lovely, and the room was authentic old Italian - with pretty tiled floors. Even though they didn't know we were bringing a toddler (who generally sleeps with us), they gave us a big two-room suite, where he had his own twin bed. Even though the bed was way too hard for my...
They view from our rooms balcony unbelievable & we overlooked the pools also. The room was large and I loved the beautiful tile work in the bathroom. The moment we arrived the staff was amazing & could not do enough. I loved being away from the fast pace of the villages. They had great shuffle service into Sorrento only 20 minutes with wonderful hillside waterviews the whole way down. The hotel was well situated to visit all the villages along the Amalfi coast. The staffs recommendations were...
The hotel has a picturesque view of the Bay of Sorrento, sitting up higher on one end just a short walk from the best restaraunts. If possible request a room on the 1100 piano (floor). The view from there overlooks the pools and the bay. Stunning. This year we stayed on the 5th piano (floor) and the photos of from this year.
A most pleasant stay in a family owned property. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. The property had views of the water, beautiful gardens & hiking trails.
A quiet retreat outside the hustle of the city but
The convenience of a 10 minute bus ride to downtown Sorrento. Buses ran every 20 minutes.
Wish we could have stayed longer!
Place was aamzing!! The owner was so very nice and cared for us. Wish there was more people like him. Place has best view of the sea! Food was amazing. Specially the carrot cake. The cooks are super nice. Rooms are clean. The only thing i recomend is to have a car to arrive because its very unique and private. But very nice
We booked a room (above the restaurant) with a balcony and view of Capri and Mt. Vesuvious. The room was comfortable and the view spectacular. I found the Hotel to be very nice. There are lots of community patios, the one on top has a 360 degree view and lots of tables for enjoying your own food and drink or meeting other guests. There is a covered patio off the entrance to the 2nd floor rooms, which was very convenient. The restaurant was really nice and what a view. It's true they are not...
Loved the view. If you are looking for the best view on the Amalfi coast you will have it here. Staff was amazing. AC was best on the trip for sure of all hotels over 3 weeks in Italy!!!
Only thing bad, the caesar salad at the pool was HOT, like it was horrible. Please dont feed that anymore unless it comes chilled with the chicken on top. The salad should not be HOT!!
Will reccomend the hotel to MANY others, but not the HOT salad!!
The staff here at the front desk are really wonderful. I am terrible with names (both the remembering and the spelling) so I am not sure but I want to say Agnes, Ivanah and another woman. They recommended great places to go, setup a wonderful wine tasting, and just generally were very pleasant to work with throughout.
Our room (the Mediterranean room) was wonderful with a very private balcony overlooking the sea. The bathroom was blessedly nice. I find a lot of European hotels have terrible...
Did a ton of research on hotels in Positano for week vacay w/ my GF - trying to keep $ manageable while providing key amenities (good balcony, location, etc.). So happy I went with Savoia.
Location - Perfect, seriously. Quick walk to Main Beach (5-10 mins) but situated on Cristoforo Colombo which has several nice bars/restaurants & amazing views. Also only 5 min. walk to the Sponda SITA bus stop (other stop is at the top of town). Couldn't beat it.
Room - Stayed in a Deluxe Double Room on 3rd...
We loved our stay at the Grand Hotel President. The views were spectacular and the service was perfect.
Delicious morning breakfast.
Prices in the dining room for dinner were reasonable and food was incredible.
You will not regret staying at this hotel.
Beautiful view, centrally located for great dining, shopping, and boat tours. Quiet at night for light sleepers. Great size room for two. Breakfast service was excellent. All around perfect hotel for the area.
we stayed two nights. very nice and worm hostpitability, good location, very clean, not expensive, very good resterant, wonderful view from the balcony,
We had a fabulous experience at Villa Fraulo. When we arrived, the hotel staff was waiting at the entrance to greet us and make us welcome. We had 2 rooms, each w/ a balcony overlooking the Med. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. This includes the bathrooms which were large and luxurious. Breakfast was served each morning on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Med. There was a nice selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, granola, pastries, eggs, meats, vegs, etc. The waiter...
I would highly recommend this hotel. We went here for our honeymoon and loved every minute. The staff left a bottle of champagne in the room as a welcome and accommodated our request for a higher level room and queen bed.
The location is great. It's an easy walk to town but enough apart to be quiet and relaxing. The rooms are a good size and many feature balconies. I would recommend paying extra to get a sea view. It's worth it!
The breakfast included in the room rate is wonderful...
