"Very nice Resort, good pool & paddle field"

"Didn't use the pool, but it was nice as part of our view. Our room was on the bottom floor and no elevator, so the stairs were a bit of a challenge. Golf course was a bit of a drive, but worth it once we got there."

"Great size rooms, slightly dated decor but very clean. Buffet breakfast was good. Pool was clean and not too busy. Would recommend"

"We had a wonderful stay at O Castelo Guest House The hotel is easy walking distance to the beach, retaraunts and shopping. The views from the balconies are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting there while enjoying our breakfast. I would definitely stay here again when in Carveoeiro."

"Spectacular view and grounds. Great breakfast and dining area. Lovely pool"

"Had a 8 day stay at this wonderful accommodation for our summer vacation and was so happy with everything. The unit was spacious modern, clean and fully equipped. Highly recommended."

"We were treated like royalty from the minute we arrived. Lovely hotel with a luxury feel to it. Great staff, friendly but attentive. Fantastic breakfast, waiter served and individually prepared. Quiet location but within close reach of probably the best beach of Ferragudo, which by chance has a beach bar and restaurant that has fantastic views of the sunset and serves great seafood dishes. We had a wonderful time!! "

"This was a charming hotel experience, Staff was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was good and the beach is very close. I highly recommend! Mario & Haydee"

"Loved the free parking, appreciated the upgraded room! Very clean and renovated hotel, will come back"

"Great small hotel, lovely rooms and facilities. Small but lovely pool, breakfast lovely, staff great. Snack bar a plus and within easy walking distance of lots of good restaurants. Free parking nearby."

"This is a superb hotel right in an excellent location. We had the blue suite which was quiet and very large with comfortable chairs and a large modern bathroom. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast is served in a lovely sun filled porch. There is a communal kitchen but there are many great cafes and restaurants around. Parking is free just a 3 minute walk away. We highly recommend this hotel. "

"A very nice resort. We decided to take a Bolt to the one of the towns near by and to our selected attractions and end up the transportation cost is still reasonably. Mini-golf and tennis is available. Swimming pool is very clean and well maintained. Pool side breakfast is very enjoyable. Mimosa is included in the breakfast!"

"Great stay. Clean, comfortable, luxurious...staff friendly and accommodating. They offered a shuttle to the beach but it was an easy 20min walk. Would definately recommend and stay again."

"Location is ideal for beach hopping. Hosts are super nice and so joyful- it was such a pleasure to stay there. The salt water pool and sauna as well as the hot tubs are fantastic. Highly recommend. "

"This was a fantastic stay for the family. Two beaches are very close. Felt like a home away from home with a fully stocked kitchen, laundry machine, and plenty of space. Staff were so helpful and friendly. The daily room clean was very helpful and appreciated."

"The breakfast was really good. The property was very well designed with easy access to the pool and common areas. Pool towels would be appreciated."

"This was our second visit to Monte Santo and it was just as good as our first. The apartment was pristine. The pools are lovely. The restaurant and takeaway food service are excellent. And really importantly the staff, from the receptionists to bar staff to housekeepers, were all incredibly kind, friendly and professional. Our four year old and eight month old had the time of their lives, as did we. We’ll definitely be back!"
