Up the hill from town, quiet neighborhood. Great views. Greet boutique hotel, 10 min center

Stayed here for over a week. The entire structure is brand new (very multi-use: restaurants, apartments, etc). Location is good - on the edge of Bo Kaap, on the edge of De Waterkant, 15 minute walk to the waterfront, 5 minutes from everything you would want - coffee, groceries, restaurant, etc., 10 mins to CBD. The shuttle van runs about every hour to the waterfront - this was rather confusing, as the times were off and not easy to find. The staff really outdid themselves in taking care of me...

Nice quiet hotel with a view of Table Mountain. The hotel is on it's own pier, so it s close to the action of the waterfront, but is nice and quiet for sleeping.

Nice people good attitude

This hotel is within an easy walk of the waterfront, an area full of restaurants, museums, and shopping malls with lots to do. It's in a safe location (although I was warned about walking the area after dark). The hotel has a set of unique rooms which all seem different. The staff remembered me from my last stay, which was nice. There's no in-house restaurant for breakfast, but considering how close the waterfront is, that's no big deal.

The place was clean And well appointed. It’s a large comfortable nice space. Check in was easy and it has a facial recognition system for entry. Really enjoyed the thoughtful touches on the room and the washer/dryer combo was a lifesaver after our luggage was delayed!

The staff was amazing. My wife became ill and was taken to the ER. Ana, the manager of the hotel actually came to the hospital in the middle of the night to support us and went out of her way to help. I have traveled all over the world and have never been so well treated as we were at The Grey Hotel. The overall stay was great.

The hotel was modern and very nice. However the shower flooded the bathroom every time you used it. They also had a 6AM yoga class that you could hear in the room. Other than that the r property was spacious, clean, modern and safe. The check in process was a little wild. They used facial recognition each time you entered the building and had cameras watching all the halls. It was a bit Big Brother is watching you. However, we would stay again for the space, comfort, and convenience.

Design of property was great. (Bare brick walls combined with modern black and red features). The gym was more than adequate and the pool a BONUS. Modern furniture in excellent condition Great location for the V&A waterfront and the business district. Excellent value for money.

This is a small (5 rooms) guest house in a great neighborhood (The Waterkant). The house is beautiful with a small well-kept garden. Our room was in the basement (which sounds worse than what it actually was), but I think a room higher up would have been nicer. There is no reception at the house so the check-in procedure was a little more complicated than it should have been. Bliss was a peaceful getaway from the busyness of the city. The wonderful staff and delicious meals made the stay so enjoyable. The view of table mountain and being so close to the beach were great! Highly recommend.

This is the best Hotel in cape Town. The location is perfect just in the best area of Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. It is a beautiful and very convinient hotel. We loved our room and the special welcome gift. Everything was perfect. The best breakfast I have ever had in any hotel, they had champagne every morning and a delicious full breakfast. We also had dinner several times and the food fantastic. The staff were great and very kind and helpful all the time. We spent a wonderful week there....

It is a great place to stay near beach and and easy walk to V & A Waterfront.

This is a near 5-star hotel at a reasonable price. I booked one of the rooms with a patio and "plunge pool" (clearly weather dependent!). It was small but beautifully cared for by housekeeping staff. Nice bedding, but too many decorator pillows! My only issue was a noisy couple that came in late on the second night, staying in the adjoining patio room. It was a wonderful, warm night and they spent the middle of the night enjoying that patio - there is inadequate soundproofing between rooms for...

Great stay and easy to get to other places. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful and the staff are friendly and helpful.
