Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel that is huge. Be sure to check how far your room is at check in if you have any mobility issues. The pools are incredible. The food offer is vast - not entirely sure I’d go half board there again as it was too busy. Breakfast was ok"
"This is a brilliant hotel in a fantastic location. The room was spacious, modern and well equipped with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The facilities were excellent - especially for children and the quality of the food was outstanding. It’s also an easy 10 minute walk into the port making it a great location."
"We stayed for a week and had a brilliant time.
The pool was great and plenty of sunbeds to use and the fact that they could not be reserved was also a bonus.
The room was lovely and the beds were made every day and we came back one afternoon to a bottle of fizz in an ice bucket compliments of the hotel for my birthday - this was a lovely touch.
We will definitely be back!"
"The staff here is wonderful. You can tell they truly care about their guests and are genuinely happy to be there. So good with kids too! We leveraged the kids club every day - sometimes multiple times a day - and all of the counselors were amazing! Our son loved them all. The food was excellent, spa/massage incredible, pool a perfect temp and gym was just what we needed for maintenance weight lifting and cardio. Also the aquatics instructor was world class! Wish I had his energy. He was a vibe! Keep it up Paradisus! You’ve won our hearts and hope to be back one day for another memorable vacation!"
"The staff are extremely professional, efficient and welcoming. The restaurant staff are meticulous. Yasmina on reception is an excellent ambassador for your brand. Well done all."
"Feels a bit harsh not to give it as what I going to moan about really can't be helped
It's situated on a main road so being on the balcony can be noise and down by the pool you are getting fumes from the road. It's centre based tho so to be expected.
Room was great and clean - didn't find it dated like some suggest. Plenty of sun loungers and staff especially housekeeping where very friendly. Suppose the question is would I go back there and the answer is yes. Supposedly a star rating lower to a local hotel within the same brand. You wouldn't know it. 👏
Breakfast was the buffet was all know and love these days."
"We loved the location. It was much nicer than surrounding areas in our opinion. Whilst taurito itself didn’t have much for us to do, other than the beach bars, restaurants, it was easy enough to hop on a bus or get a taxi to Puerto de Mogan, Puerto Rico etc!
The hotel itself was lovely. We arrived at 11pm, we were told to leave our bags at reception and go and grab a drink from the bar. We were told that there was a cold buffet from 11:30pm so we could get something to eat, when we went, it was bread rolls, salad and cheese. It was disappointing.
Food overall, breakfast was exactly as you would imagine and I couldn’t fault it! Although, an omelette making bit would absolutely make a difference to the options. Lunch & dinner had a bit of repetitive options. Some dishes were lovely and i could have gone back for seconds, other dishes were a little too adventurous for us and a little off putting, we noticed that on these nights, the restaurant seemed much quieter so I think other guests must have had the same opinions.
Drinks were okay, cocktails were syrupy and sweet. Could certainly tell they didn’t contain much alcohol. It would have been good if there was a cocktail menu that staff would actually prepare the drinks themselves for rather than just the machine.
Transfer was long and we got taxi on return.
Big thing for us, air con was not cool at all!"
