Everything was great. From the hosts Douglas and his mother were amazing. Perfect location. Everything is walkable or 10 minutes by buggy. The included breakfast was prepared fresh to order by the chef. We were extremely happy with our experience here. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Plus the charm of this place being so small was great. The pictures shown on here don't do it justice. It's a fairly new property but don't hesitate to book here!

I was very nervous about going to a remote island with no chain hotels or known car rental agencies. The island businesses are completely run by locals using whatsapp. Mar em Mim had only 12 reviews at the time l made the reservation, so it was kinda risky, but l it had everything l wanted. I had very high expectations about the island since I heard it was a piece of paradise. My expectations were exceeded! A big part of that was my stay at this Pousada.The service was exceptional and the room was comfortable and charming. One of the most beautiful Pousadas around with a lovely terraza to enjoy delicious made to order breakfast. Wifi was very slow.. that wasn’t ideal. The rest was definitely a 10!
