Wow, wow and wow. From a cheerful and fast check in through every wonderful breakfast to check out we continued to be impressed. They deserve their nearly perfect rating. After a hot and sticky day in Jakarta, coming back to the Holiday Inn was a cool and clean respite. The breakfasts at Holiday Inn in Singapore and Kuala Lumpor were better, but the one in Jakarta was ok-ish. A little more variety would be nice. All in all it was a pleasant stay though.
Fantastic hotel with amazingly nice people. The design of the hotel is great, the restaurant is very nice along with the pool. I would for sure recommend this hotel to anyone that desires to sleep in style.
Overall it was good. They do not provide bottled water in the room but they do provide the filtered water in glass bottles. The problem is that the guests cannot assure the cleanliness of that filtered water. I understand that the hotel is aiming the eco-friendly but good clean drinking water should be provided.
This hotel is much closer to the airport than downtown Jakarta. However, depending on the route, travel to/from the airport can take nearly as long as travel to/from downtown Jakarta. Be sure to ask the hotel staff to let the taxi driver know when you need to be at the airport.
