"What an incredible find - a real gem in a City with a million of them. Great location, and while urban, very quiet. AC is very powerful. So, after we had a long day of touring and dining, it was a pleasure to feel that cool blast of air. I'll very likely revisit this site in the future. Great deal, too. Feel it was worth every penny. Great customer service, too. The owner is on top of everything. Very professional stem to stern."

"Extra spacious for a room in Europe! Property had old Roman charm but rooms were renovated, super clean, and beautiful! The air condition worked great! Access to the property and room were convenient. All you needed was the link on your phone and doors opened automatically. Easy walking distance to St. Peter’s, Castle de Angelo, shipping, Vatican, tour buses. I would definitely stay here again!!! 5 STARS!!!"

"It was an excellent little place (hotel) to stay. Very clean, close to everything (attraction, foods, shoppings, etc). The owner was very nice. I didn’t have time to notify them what time I will arrived and when I was late to check out, thee were very accommodating and understanding. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Vatican city"

"Our stay at Fabio Dei Velapapazza was really nice, the house is located nearby vatican city ideal for a good hike through Rome. All staff had been super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and we even got a freshly made omelet and fresh cappuccino. The room was clean and modern."

"I was visiting Rome with a friend to watch Italy v England in the Six Nations 2026. The hotel was in a perfect location for us. We also visited St Peter's square and the Vatican, both very close by. Very clean and very helpful staff - they organised the transfers to and from the airport for us."

"We enjoyed and comfortable 2 night stay while in Rome. The property is a short walk from the Metro Station and taxi fare to FCO is €55 flat rate. This is a 3 minute walk to the Vatican Museums. The property manager is fantastic - pleasant and very helpful. This was the most comfortable bed we had throughout our time in Italy. Thank you for a great stay. "
